Kazunori Kameoka
Born in Ebetsu City. Studied guitar under Isamu Hirano, Kengo Yabuta, and Daisuke Suzuki. Focusing on classical music, but also in a variety of genres such as film music, jazz, and bossa nova, he currently performs solo, in ensembles, and in collaborations with recitations throughout the country, mainly in Sapporo. He also runs a guitar school in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, where he teaches the next generation of guitarists.
In 2010, he won the Final Prize at the 37th Japan Guitar Competition. In the same year, he won the Encouragement Prize at the Sapporo City Arts Festival Guitar Music Festival. In 2011, he was selected and made the final in the string section of the Osaka International Music Competition.
In 2012, he was in charge of the music for the Sapporo City Hall Lobby Concert, in 2014 he was in charge of the music for the reading event "Yoko Reads 'Freezing Point'" commemorating the 50th anniversary of 'Freezing Point', in the same year he played guitar for the film "Smiles in the Mirror", in 2016 he was in charge of the music for "Enjoy Shiokari Pass with Lectures and Readings", in the same year he performed as a guest at the Sapporo Citizens' Arts Festival Guitar Music Festival, in 2017 he appeared at the Shirebeshi Museum Road Concert, in 2018 he appeared at the Hokkaido Bank Head Office Lobby Concert at Culture Night 2018, in 2022 he appeared at the Otaru Orchestra's 55th Regular Concert, in 2024 he appeared at the Hokkaido Nikikai Golden Concert 2024, and many others.
He has taken master class lessons from Maria Ester Guzman, Ohagi Koji, Matsuo Shunsuke, Fukuda Shinichi, Takada Gentaro, Anavidovic, Kono Tomomi, Alvaro Pieri, and David Russell.
